About AIA

Aston International Academy was established in 1992 to help students master the English language and succeed in the global village. Aston International Academy, also known as AIA, has an excellent track record of helping our students achieve their goals, whether it be getting into an American college or university or landing their dream job. Over the last 12 years we have managed to maintain a personal environment ideal for learning and living. With no more than 10 students in a class, our classrooms foster intimacy, progress and confidence.

Aston International Academy is committed to providing immersive academic and non-academic English language education to speakers of other languages. Serving both international students and Austin residents, we aim to foster a community of learners with a focus on fluency, accuracy and confidence in a comfortable, family-like atmosphere.

What makes AIA special?

The AIA Approach

The goal of our classes is to help students develop their ability to speak and listen to English in real-life situations. AIA bases its classes on communicative activities that focus on everyday and academic language and aim to develop the core skills of speaking, listening, reading, and writing. AIA's language courses provide an excellent springboard for developing vital language skills by using activities that directly mirror what people do in the real world.

AIA is accredited by the Commission on English Language Program accreditation for the period of August 2016 through August, 2017 and agrees to uphold the CEA Standards for English Language Programs and institutions. CEA is recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education as a nationally recognized accrediting agency for English language programs and institutions in the U.S. For further information about this accreditation, please contact CEA, 1001 North Fairfax Street, Suite 630, Alexandria, VA, 22314, (703) 665-3400, www.cea-accredit.org.
