TUITION PAYMENT AGREEMENT

The Tuition Payment Agreement is a contract between the STUDENT and Aston International Academy (hereafter “AIA”). The STUDENT may not register or attend classes at AIA without having first signed and returned this agreement.

The signatory to this contract agrees to be the RESPONSIBLE BILLING PARTY and agrees to be the guarantor of all tuition payments and other fees due to AIA, irrespective of the person who is billed. The STUDENT shall be considered the responsible party for all tuition and fee payments that are due to AIA, as the STUDENT is the only person to whom AIA owes contractual obligations.

Satisfactory arrangements for each academic term’s full tuition payment, along with any other applicable fees, MUST be made no less than two weeks prior to the first day that the STUDENT attends classes. In order to qualify as “satisfactory arrangements,” payment must be made in a timely manner and (1) be in accordance with one of the Full Payment Plan options; or (2) be in accordance with the Monthly Payment Plan AND the initial payment that is billed prior to the first day of classes must be paid before the STUDENT starts attending classes.

The Monthly Payment Plan is a privilege, and it may be revoked if there is cause to do so. Under either payment plan, all payments/installments are due and payable in full upon receipt of each invoice. An invoice shall become delinquent six days after its due date, after which the STUDENT may no longer continue attending classes until the invoice has been paid in full. Delinquent accounts are subject to a late charge of one percent (1%) of the past due amount each day that the account remains delinquent. In addition, all past due charges from the previous session or academic term MUST be paid prior to registering for and attending classes in the next session or academic term. If an account becomes delinquent and the STUDENT holds an F1 visa, that student will be notified that they have no more than seven (7) calendar days to present payment before their F1 visa is terminated for non-payment and for failing to maintain status.

By signing this Tuition Payment Agreement, the STUDENT (and, if applicable, the RESPONSIBLE BILLING PARTY) agrees to pay all reasonable collection costs, including reasonable attorney fees and/or collection agency fees that are incurred during the recuperation of payments for any delinquent accounts. In the event of withdrawal from AIA, refunds shall be made in accordance with the policy stated on the official AIA website.

- Full Payment Plan (Session discount applied) – STUDENT promises (and, if applicable, the RESPONSIBLE BILLING PARTY guarantees) to pay the total charges for each session’s tuition and books prior to the beginning of each semester as per the due date on the STUDENT’S statement and to pay any additional special fees, miscellaneous charges or other amounts due on the STUDENT’S statement on or before the due date. The STUDENT may withdraw from this payment plan by providing written notice no less than one month prior to withdrawal.

- Full Payment Plan (Academic Term discounts applied) – STUDENT promises (and, if applicable, the RESPONSIBLE BILLING PARTY guarantees) to pay the total charges for each session’s tuition and books prior to the beginning of each semester per the due date on the STUDENT’S statement and to pay any additional special fees, miscellaneous charges or other amounts due on the STUDENT’S statement on or before the due date. The STUDENT may withdraw from this payment plan by providing written notice no less than one month prior to withdrawal.

- Monthly Payment Plan (Every 4 weeks) – STUDENT (and, if applicable, the RESPONSIBLE BILLING PARTY) chooses to apply for the Monthly Payment Plan. STUDENT promises (and, if applicable, the RESPONSIBLE BILLING PARTY guarantees) to pay the total for each Term’s tuition (and book fees when relevant) every 4 weeks, with such installments being recalculated each month. Installments may change due to additional weeks or special fees. The STUDENT will always receive a detailed invoice with a breakdown of the charges in advance. The STUDENT may withdraw from this payment plan by providing written notice no less than one month prior to withdrawal.
